Local Ministries

Through our church’s Board of Social Action and Mission, we reach out into a wide variety of community groups and agencies which minister to the less fortunate of our neighbors. Among these we include:

Beverly Bootstraps: A food bank and employment counseling service www.beverlybootstraps.org

North Shore Community Development Coalition: An affordable housing organization northshorecdc.org>northshorecdc.org

River House: A shelter for the homeless in our community www.riverhouseshelter.org

HAWC (Healing Abuse, Working for Change): Providing support to women and children in 23 North Shore communities www.hawcdv.org

Lifebridge: Providing assistance to the homeless in Salem www.lifebridgesalem.org/

Our congregation also creates prayer shawls for Hospice patients, serves meals at both St. Stephen’s Church in Beverly and the Salem Mission, and provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged youth in our community.
