SAFE CHURCH POLICY

Second Congregational Church members are committed to protecting the safety of all children. We take seriously our responsibility to create an environment that minimizes the risk of harm to children. An important feature of risk reduction is insuring that the staff and volunteers who work with our young people are able and willing to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner consistent with the laws of Massachusetts.

Our comprehensive Safe Church Policy requires completion of the Criminal Offender Record Information (C.O.R.I) form by all staff, church leader volunteers.  Anyone working with children and two adults are always present in any activity with children and youth. Annual Safe Church education, training and review are also part of our policy.
